I really liked how diverse UAlbany is! In my high-school, there wasn't as many people of color compared to UAlbany. I love how many clubs there are, I joined my first sport (Ultimate Frisbee) too! I like how much freedom I have and how big the campus is. There's lots of scenic places to sit down and chat with friends! I loved all the events I went to over the course of the two semesters of my Freshmen year. A lot of the staff are super nice and accommodating and I really enjoyed my classes.

UAlbany is a great school of diversity. I've met many people of various backgrounds on our large campus. The college hosts multiple events throughout the school year, from job fairs, parties, food for finals, etc. I've made many friends there and have connections with a few professors whom I greatly appreciate. The housing at UAlbany gets expensive, but living in the more expensive housing is worth it. You get your own room and can possibly have your own bathroom. The academics at UAlbany can improve, especially in the Computer Science department. There is a mix of professors who love their careers and want to see students succeed, and other professors who struggle to teach well and don't make themselves available outside of lecture time. There have been times when I felt like the workload was tough, but that depends on the classes you take and your time management. Overall, UAlbany is a great affordable school in New York and one of the best SUNY schools.

The campus is very natural and beautiful, and the staff and administration is very helpful and friendly. They are very focused on trying to help you as best as they can to ensure you have a positive experience at the university. The food is good and the dorms are very comfortable and mostly suite style rooms, meaning you will only be sharing a bathroom with the 4-6 people that live with you. There is one dorm area that has communal bathrooms but the overall building has been renovated so it is much nicer than the other buildings and makes up for not having suite style rooms. Overall, the academics are also top-notch, and save for a few bad professors, most of the ones I have personally had or heard about have been great at teaching their respective subjects.
