Job Title: Associate Campus Pastor, Operations

Ministry/Department: Multisite

Reports to: Campus Pastor

Status: Full-time, exempt

Supervisory Role: Yes

Objective

Provide leadership to the campus team in the areas of ministry growth and execution, implementing Eleven22 culture, casting vision for healthy ministry growth and providing support in shepherding and equipping the saints of The Church of Eleven22\u00AE for the work of ministry.

Support and co-labor with the Campus Pastor under his leadership to create an environment for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and shepherd the welcome and pperations teams by owning, modeling and implementing the vision and values of the church
  • Co-labor with the Campus Pastor in annual goal setting, execution and evaluation of campus Ministry Action Plans (MAPS)
  • Focus on the gospel mission within the church and throughout the surrounding community by intentionally equipping the saints for ministry and developing ministry leaders
  • Promote gospel unity and cohesiveness through care and leadership of campus staff and partnering with central ministries staff
  • Implement campus metrics and rhythms to effectively minister the gospel to a growing campus
  • Know the ministry, people (staff, serve staff and congregants) and communities of Eleven22 through intentional connection, spiritual development, counseling and disciple-making discipleship
  • Lead and coach welcome and Operations Campus Ministers in building serve teams that effectively minister the gospel and address campus needs
  • Lead, coach and manage campus staff in day-to-day execution of Ministry Action Plans (MAPs) and team member\u2019s Mission & Morale: this includes, but is not limited, to the Welcome Minister(s) and Operations Minister(s)
  • Lead and direct the campus team in recruiting, developing, caring for and leading serve teams and individual leaders
  • Lead weekly and quarterly campus meetings
  • Be a leader of solutions and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Conduct quarterly and annual performance meetings with each team member to highlight wins and growth opportunities
  • Ensure central ministry plans are implemented by Campus Ministers at the campus level and provide realtime feedback to campus and central staff
  • Conduct general pastoral responsibilities alongside other pastoral and ministry staff, including weddings, funerals, baptisms, care visitations, teaching, 1:1\u2019s and pastoral counseling

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of ministry leadership experience including experience managing teams, volunteers and/or ministry areas required
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt position that primarily works Sunday through Thursday, with varying hours. Work times and days fluctuate with seasons and will include evenings and some weekend days.

The church has several big events, (\u201CAll-Skates\u201D) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment

This job is God-honoring and primarily operates in a church building and professional office environment, in addition to various locations within the community. Some overnight travel may be required.

Physical Demands

This role requires sitting at a desk, standing and moving throughout office and other building space and at times has some physical activity that is required in order to fulfill job responsibilities. May require standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Ministerial Exception

The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).

Staff members who qualify under the ministerial exception are not covered by federal and state employment and anti-discrimination laws. Please see the Human Resources Ministry team if you have questions on whether you are subject to the ministerial exception.
