Which Slayer master is most likely to give Kraken? ›

The best Slayer master to get Kraken tasks from is Duradel who assigns tasks of 100-120 Cave krakens and is extendable. Players wishing to extend the task may use bracelets of slaughter, preferably by switching to it at the end of each kill to get the benefit from a Tormented bracelet for most of the kill.

Unlike other optional bosses in OSRS, the requirements for fighting the Kraken isn't steep except the slayer requirement. The recommended things you need to have are: Level 75 Magic or higher. Level 87 Slayer.

The Kraken only attacks with a typeless magical ranged attack: 'Typeless' means that protection prayers will not have any effect. 'Magical ranged' means that the attack accuracy is decided by the ranged attack bonuses of the Kraken and the magic defence bonuses of the player.

The Kraken is very weak to Magic, even though it uses Magic as its attack style. It is highly resistant to Ranged and immune to Melee, due to the fact that it cannot be reached by Melee attacks. Due to these mechanics, Magic is the only way to kill the Kraken effectively.

Are higher level spells more accurate in OSRs? ›
