A native of Lincoln County, he was born Jan. 19, 1922 to the late Jess Wooldridge and Mattie Ellis Wooldridge. He was a retired welder for Texas Eastern Gas Company, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, and a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church and Lincoln Masonic Lodge Young Survivors Wooldridge include of his wife, Stanford; Louise one son, Donald Gary Wooldridge of Stanford; one daughter, Vicky Lee Freeman of Stanford; three brothers, Ronnie and Bobby Wooldridge of Danville and Johnny Wooldridge of Alcoa, two sisters, Betty Jean Hearld of Reynoldsburg, and Emmilene Merriman of Lexington; and 4 grandchildren.

10. Funeral services were held Friday, March 10. at the Fox Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Miller officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Hwy. 643, Waynesburg (Ottenheim community), died Friday, March 10 at the Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. 1 born A native Jan. 2, of 1919 Lincoln to the County, late he Fred was Schlappi and Emma Heohn Schlappi. He was a farmer, a member of heim Immanuel Lutheran Church and a U.S.

Army veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife, Flossie Spears Schlappi of Ottenheim; two sons, Cecil Schlappi of Round Lake Beach, and Andrew Schlappi of Ottenheim; three daughters, Pauline Bradshaw and Carolyn Marks of Ottenheim and Barbara Ellis of Stanford; two brothers, Marshall Schlappi of Ottenheim and Paul Schlappi of California; two sisters, Mrs. Isadore Feldman (Barbara) of Lancaster and Mrs. Edward Kocher (Hattie) of Ottenheim; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 12 at the Ottenheim Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev.

Rolland Benthrup officiating. Burial was in Ottenheim Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by Caswell Saufley Post of the American Legion. Pallbearers were Kent Ellis, Don Marks, Ronnie Bradshaw, Jason Bradshaw, Orville Gilland, David Feldman and Carl Schlappi. Fox Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangemens.

Melvin Mullins Melvin Mullins, 81, of Newport, formerly of Lincoln County, died last week. Mullins was the son of the late Mack and Elsie Vanwinkle Mullins. He was born in the White Lick section of the county and lived much of his earlier years on Haromon's Lick Road in Garrard County. William Eugene Jarman William Eugene Jarman, 69, of 467 S. Third Danville, died Monday, March 13 after an illness at a daughter's residence in Danville.

A native of Hustonville, he was born July 19, 1925 to the late Dennis and Rose Jarman. He was a retired employee of Philips Lighting a member, treasurer and master of Doric Lodge 18 and high priest and Royal Arch Mason of St. John Chapter 9. He served as E. commander of Cyrene Commandery 17 and belonged to the Bluegrass Consistory 46 of Lexington.

He was senior warden of Bluegrass Past Masters Council 2. He was a member of the Kentucky Club and the Willis Russell organization. He served as a member, bus driver and deacon of Second Street Christian Church and had been the church board's chairman and assistant chairman. Survivors include two daughters, Rita Hawkins and Roslyn Faulkner, both of Danville; and 5 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be June Christy, Howard Clark, Clarence Gooch, Charles Grey, Chester Kava and Joe Potter.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Doric Lodge 18 and Celestine Lodge 9. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Second Street Christian Church with Rev. Henry A. Sneed Jr.

officiating. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery. A masonic service was held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Smith- Jacks Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Audry C.Gourley, Sr. Audry C. Gourley, of 1039 S. St. Paul Street, Indianapolis, died Tuesday, March 7 in Indianapolis.

A native of Waynesburg, he was born March 7, 1923 to the late George Gourley and Myrtle Slone. He was a self-employed carpenter, a WWII U.S. Army veteran, a member of Villa Baptist Church, and the widower of Reba B. "Bee" Gourley. Survivors include two sons, Audry C.

Gourley, and James Gourley, both of Indianapolis, three daughters, Margaret A. Dilley, Di- anne Gourley, and Sharon L. Gourley, all of Indianapolis, two brothers, Bob Gourley of Kentucky and Dave Gourley of Michigan; three sisters, Rose Grubbs of Greenwood, Wanda Lewis of Ohio, and Betty Preston of Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral: services were held Thursday, March 9 at the Chapel of the Chimes with Rev. Kevin Hale officiating.

A native of Lincoln County, he was born Sept. 2, 1899 to the late John C. Tucker and Fannie Cash Tucker. He was a retired farmer and the widower of Lula Myrtle James Tucker.

Survivors include two sons, Evan Ray (Buddy) Tucker of Crab Orchard and Edwin Tucker of Richmond, Robert Lee Hocker Robert Lee Hocker, 73, of 3960 Blue Lick Road, Stanford, died Friday, March 3 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Centerin Danville. A native of Lincoln County, he was born Sept. 25, 1921 to the late George and Sarah Givens Hocker. He was member of Bethel AME Church, Boneyville. Survivors inlude his wife, Rose Anna Hocker; four sons, Robert L.

Hocker, and Tommy Hocker, both of Lexington, and Bobby Joe and George Hocker, both of Stanford; four daughters, Jeanette Napier, Brenda Hocker, Doris Hocker and Peggy Hocker, all of Stanford; 18 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchil- dren.
