Comcast Business Hours

Comcast is one of the largest providers of home phone service, Internet service as well as cable service. The company currently provides service to millions of customers across the United States. If you need to reach out to the customer service department, you can do so by email, traditional mail, by phone or through social media.

Comcast Regular Business Hours

  • Weekdays: The hours of operation are based upon the location of the Comcast retail store. Typically, the customer service department is open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 7pm, local time. In the event a holiday falls on a weekday, the customer service department is closed for the day. You may notice the hours are adjusted the day prior to and the day after the holiday. The technical support team is available 24 hours a day, except holidays.
  • Weekends: The customer service department is open on Saturday 10am to 6pm, local time. The customer service department is closed on Sunday. The technical support team is available 24 hours a day, except holidays.

        Comcast goes up every month after the 6 month bill or however long your contract is, I don’t like it at all I only like the Internet service but they put you in a “so called plan” my bill is 140 & I only use the internet for my game system …. way too high for 1 box and bundle Plan

    I have been trying to contact comcast for the last few days to cancel a trial upgrade of $99.00 for 30 days for our tv and internet. My wife has called on two occasions to cancel this subscription, only to be told she is unable to do so as her name is not on the account! which i hasten to add did not seem to be a problem when we set it up! she was told I would have to contact you myself to do this but as i work 6 days a week until 10pm at night is problem, which my wife informed you of, only to be told this is no problem as you are available 24/7! this seems to be also untrue as when i tried to call you last night the office was closed!!! and also closed today! because of a “holiday”!We are now in the unfortunate position of wanting to end our free subscription, but unable to do so as there is no one to contact! I would greatly appreciate your help in this situation as we do NOT want to be charged for this “free trial” due to the fact we were unable to contact you.

    All I can say is that Xfinity is one of (if not THE MOST) shisterey businesses I’ve encountered in a very long time. These representatives are nothing but liars and crooks!! They’ll say anything they think you want to hear…present you with these “deals” and just about give you a coronary when you receive the bill!!!! It’s trrue, all they want is your money. All they’ll do is steal from you and when you attempt to call them on it, there’s absolutely nothing you can do! Swindle you for commission!! Why stick with them and their false promises???!! If you’re thinking about going with xfinity comcast…DON’T!!! Unless, of course, you have hard earned money you don’t mind STOLEN!!!

And when you call you can wait up to an 1hr for a non speaking american to drop on and to try to get you to understand what each other is saying…lol which is what has me out rate…I get home from work to no signal for the sec. Time with this being My first mo. Of service. I need Verizon. Why dont you service my new neighborhood..WHY oh WHY??? Next time I move It will have to be where Verizon Is servicing.. Die Comcast !!     All I want is to get in touch with customer service to cancel this horrible service. I have been living in Chicago, Illinois for over 3 months and I an still be charged for my Texas account. And then I constantly receive past due notices. I have been calling comcast for over 2 months non stop and the calls are constantly dropped. This is ridiculous how comcast treats their customers. Comcast has a monopoly with my apartment complex so they don’t care if we suffer.

    I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life. You switch and that is not better either. I really think all these cable companies are out to get your money and they will tell you anything to achieve those ends and after they have you as a customer, Watch out!!! Absolutely horrible

    Comcast is aweful. I got the bundle for 119 but my bill is always 150 – 170 a month. I called to see why and the rep just kept telling me he could offer me a bundle for 109 but the kidding part it my bill would be the same. No help at all and by the end of my call still hadn’t answered me to why if I have the bundle to I see a hi speed internet charge? Worst worst customer service ever. If I had other options I would most certainly switch…

    I have been waiting for three weeks to get cable. Still no cable. I had a service tech, he said he came but the dogs didn’t bark. Says he is not gonna come back or wait but we wait in line and on the phone for hours. I hate them.

    I think Comcast should get 5 STARS for the most lies they tell their customers. 4 times they told us we will get $20 inconvenience fee for interrupted services. We never got it.Boxes break down once a month. When you go to exchange them and ask why this break down so consistent. The only answer is refurbished. Without any further interest. I hope that all of Comcast employees go to the same restaurant that operates on the same principles that they follow. What a big farce.

      I agree. When i picked up my new boxes they told me i didnt have to wait in line in order to get a receipt when i came back to turn in the old boxes, without a receipt they will continue to charge for the old old boxes. I went there today and was told i had to signn in and wait, 15 people ahead of me means 2 hrs. Then sbe told me i could go down the street to ups store and turn it in there and they would give me a receipt. I said please admit to me that this is one of the stupidest things you ever heard…she agreed and i left. Still have the boxes. Yes there is no customer service with Comcast xfiniy or whatever they want to call themselves. Stealers and liars all the way around.

      I used to have Verizon for a decade by the time I used to live in NY but when I moved Pennsylvania,I met a guy that worked for comcast he told everything about and I asked him do you have international calling plan and he told yes that was a lied .they sent me a bills for $1790 I keep on calling them everyday about my bills they told I have to pay them. .let’s we all come together to take them to court.

    5 days without phone, Internet or cable TV. I have spoke to someone every day. On Friday a supervisor was going to make sure my ticket was expedited and assured me someone would be out Sat. I called Sat to confirm. First call – the rep confirmed that. 2nd call, the rep & supervisor said they didn’t know when dispatch could expedite. Today is Sunday (5 days out of all services) and they still haven’t been able to confirm anything sooner than July 16 which is 4 more days. This is inexcusable awful service. ATT Uverse is now scheduled for Wednesday. If Comcast can’t get here in less than 9 days they will never have my business again.

    I have contacted Compass on wed.& again on Thurs. We had a lengthy conversation with person but to no avail.We were not able to get reconnected. So the very best they can do is come on Tues. to see what they can do.
    Now I am not happy about this. I tried to explain that we are senior citizens and also my husband is pretty much house bound and Uses the TV for entertainment. We have to wait 1week for customer service. We are looking into alternative plans

    Let me tell you what I been threw they took $570.out of my Cirdet Card and 2 payments weren’t applied to my account..They turn me on while my account is being investigated then shut me off the same day.Now they are saying my bill is over 1,000 are you kidding me!!!!I live in Illinois and they promise someone would contact me and they never do..I been Robed of $570. Dollars I faxed my Cirdet card bill statements to them they claim they never got it. I recive text messages when a Bill gets deduckted from my Cirdet Card..I have proof payments were taken out and they still shut me off call me a liar saying I never paid them when I did!

      I remember when they broke up Ma Bell because they were so big you couldn’t get anything done with them. But it worked because now there are so many phone services. They need to break up BIG CABLE! We would all benefit. We would have Cable Wars! Prices would be $20 a month for everything! What a dream!

    I am looking for another service, I am so tired of my internet not working, my phone service not working, and the constant increase in my monthly bills. I was given a price for my monthly bill the first month is was what the guy told me, now today I rec’d my invoice and it went up $20.00. A month later, it is robbery, plus you pay to watch the same movies over and over, and shows in the evening that are anything but entertaing. I agree with the above comments, getting someone to answer the phone is the worst, and all the button you have to push to even get a real person is ridicules. Comcast is the worst customer service for a business. I would NOT recommend Comcast.

    I have had the worst customer service of my life with Comcast. I have never been treated so badly by a company that gets a whole bunch of my money every month. They quote you one price on the phone and when you get your bill it is at least 20.00 higher. I left them and went to Dish and they were even worse if you can believe it. It is so sad that they care nothing about their customers. I guess they don’t have to what other choice do you have?

    Cable and internet were installed Sunday and worked fine. Monday morning they didn’t work at all. Comcast will be out Friday to fix it. There’s not charge to me if they determine its their fault its not working. Curious as to how it could be my fault there’s reception one day and none the next. Said I wasn’t paying for the week I have to go with out it. Was told if its not their fault its not working I will have to pay for service I never received.

    I have some old equipment to return and I wondered what the service center hours would be on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day hours were not in question. Hours were indeed listed, but also with the caveat that shortened hours were possible. So I called the 1-800 number that I was directed to use to find the answer. After identifying me by my phone number, I was asked to identify the reason for my call, to which I replied ‘holiday hours’. Ms. Robot then said ‘OK, putting service on hold’. When I failed to confirm that action, I was asked to choose from options like Resume Service, Move Service, Billing & Payments and Technical Support. Oh jeez, I’m trapped. When I failed to clarify, I was told to use my touch-tone keypad to press 1 for Resume Service, press 2 for Move Service, etc. (I am becoming more deeply trapped with each question). So I pressed zero – not a viable choice – to speak with an agent. Suddenly I was hopeful. But first, I was told, I had to choose among Technical Support, Billing & Payments and Other Options. Wow, selecting Other Options, I knew that live voice was only a few clicks away. But then Ms. Robot asked if I was moving, adding services…..

    Jack Comcast customers service is the worst I recently upgraded to HD cable and it took a total of 5 HD boxes and 2 visits from a tech ( who were excellent ) to get the issues resolved which should have handled over the phone 2 supervisor were to call me back which they never did, being in customer service if I ever told a client that I would call them back and did not I would be fired I’m also tried of having to speak with half way around the world bring jobs back to the United States of America

    I had my service disconnected on Christmas. No internet, no phone, no tv and kids coming over. I tried calling of course they were closed Sunday and Monday. I had just given them 247.00 out of my checking account. When Tuesday got here I called and after being on hold for 57 minutes, I was told I was supposed to pay 247.80. So they shut me off for 80 cents! Well, they turned it back on and here it is New Years day and it got shut off again. And being a holiday I have to wait til Tuesday to talk to anyone. Comcast is the worst customer service I have ever had. They charge way too much, and are so rude. Does ANYONE at Comcast know anything?

    Have had Comcast for 11+ years. I have no complaints, maybe 5 or six true outages during that time. Great, helpful customer service. Had some signal problems once, tech arrived within 15 minutes of scheduled time, spent several hours re-routing and re-configuring to get signal. Monthly bill has gone up but no more than the other providers out there. Every two years they put me on a new promotional program when I inquire, no contract, no commitment. Actually called me one time and reduced my monthly rate. I must be in the “good Comcast” area based on the whining above. Internet speed is unbeatable. Network programming (premium and other) are mediocre at best but the same as everybody else’s.

    I never had any major problems with my service except the 2 times some channels wasn’t tuning correctly and got a blank screen. Fixed itself the next day. Every company bills goes up so why complain about the bill when every 2 years you can jump to any other cable company available in your area? You have choices so move on to the next. Oh and I’ve had FiOS and RCN, Customer service there aren’t any better…

      Not everyone has the choice of another company every two years. And people complain because you get less for more money, or it cost more to get the same service they offer to new customers for a fraction of what they charge existing customers. And some people live based on a budget.
