First time patient with an outstanding first impression. Professional, organized, knowledgeable and caring personel. Dr Irwin was amazing. Felt like I knew her for years. Woupd highly recommend.

Not only is Dr Irwin skilled, empathetic, comforting but her staff is warm and delightful as well. Sure, not the most fun in the world to endure a couple of 'needles' in the right places but the relief it produces for months ahead is worth a visit to Dr Irwin

The office staff , nurse and Dr Anna Irwin were all great They answered all my questions and came up with a solution to help with my pain. I highly recommend the Bethesda location.

Anne Irwin truly went to my rescue --to deliver me from the worst pain I've experienced in my 83 years. My usual doctor was unreachable, but my master Orthodopedic Doctor, the formidable, beloved Tushar Patel, found her for me. I've rarely seen a staff more upbeat and welcoming with Reggie and Tiffany. And Irwin--so collected, so focused, so clear on my own records and what she was about to do. It was the kind of experience one savors, of accomplished, dedicated people, doing joyously what they had set themselves, as their vocation, to do.

Dr. Anna Irwin and her team at MD - Clearway Pain Solutions are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. When I first saw Dr. Irwin, she listened carefully to my particular issues and asked questions for clarification to help determine the best way to deal with my situation. When I saw Dr. Irwin recently for a follow-up appointment, she asked very specific questions about the treatment she prescribed and its effectiveness. She didn’t take anything for granted, which I greatly appreciated!

Shebrecommended I get an epidural, which has helped in the past.

Very pleasant support staff and PA. Doctor had excellent bedside manners and was very proficient in applying cervical shot (better than any other pain doctor who has treated my lower or upper back).

My 1st visit experience was Amazing! The office staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and took care of everything! Dr. Anna Irwin is a dream come true! She asked great questions and most of all was a terrific listener. Nothing got lost in our conversation. Although my situation may be considered unique and uncommon, Dr. Irwin immediately connected with me and offered a solution never mentioned before by any other doctor in my nearly 20 years of chronic pain. Heaven has to be missing an Angel. I'm so fortunate and grateful to now be under the care of Dr. Irwin.
I'm excited and now hopeful for a less painful future.

Friendly staff and great doctor

Dr. Anna Irwin and her team are exceptional! From the initial phone call to the procedure, I felt welcomed and cared for. Dr. Irwin is knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive, making sure I understand my treatment. The entire team went above and beyond to make my experience stress-free. Highly recommend!

When I first entered the office I was greeted by a smiling Miss Tiffany who promptly verified my information and told me that she would get me in within a few minutes which she did. Her outstanding personality and professionalism set the tone for what was a great way to start a first visit with this office.
Dr. Irwin was also a pleasure to speak with. She reviewed my xrays & EMG along with my symptoms and previous treatments to determine a treatment plan that would work best for me.
I had previously been treated at the Columbia, MD location and the difference with their doctor and staff is night and day.
I live 35 miles from the Bethesda office and it was well worth the time and effort to go to this location.
Lastly, I would score their patient portal and call center (which are a separate entity) a -2 stars due to a glitch or just poorly designed systems. It seems that Athena Health has outscourced most of their services and none of them are good alone or as a team. My faith in their ability to keep my medical records secure is very low.

Dr. Irwin was fantastic! She made me feel reassured and comfortable and made sure I got the cortisone injection I needed as rapidly as possible and with minimal discomfort. She is terrific!

Professional, relaxed and pleasant experience

Great service. Only criticism was requirement to arrive 40 minutes before appointment time. Waited 35 minutes of that time as paperwork took less than 5 minutes.

It was a telemedicine appointment that was 25 minutes late. The audio did not work so we had to do it on the phone. I like Dr. Irwin and she is highly recommended but I thought the visit was very abrupt. We briefly discussed how well the epidural had worked and then I wanted to talk about general back pain from surgery. She made clear she only does shots and medicine and asked what medicine I would try. I guess I thought pain management extended beyond meds and shots. Clearly if the muscle relaxant does not work I will have to find someone else for alternative approaches. I just felt the appointment was rushed and next time would insist on an in office visit. But the epidural she gave me did work!

Dr Irwin is a master -- knowledgeable, confident, resourceful, and very smart. A good thinker. She's high-energy and a great communicator. Every time I visit I'm struck by how happy her staff is.

Clearway in Silver Spring at 2101 Medical Park Drive is outstanding! They took me the next day when I called them. I was on a visit to the area and my hip was very painful. DR. AMY was super friendly and knowledgeable. She administered an image - guided steroid shot with expertise, and 2 hours later, I felt relief! The front desk/ tech, was also amazing. So friendly and attentive! The waiting area offers snacks and drinks. Very clean facility. I think the whole thing took 20 minutes. I am so thankful and strongly recommend their services. Your search for pain relief is over, go here!

Staff extremely professional, efficient, welcoming and accommodating. Office clean, colorful and water and snacks available for patients. Lovely experience.

I was pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of Dr. Irwin. I wish I had asked for some pain medication as it will be over a week before my pain relieving procedure is scheduled.

Good Medical Service.

Starting with the first point of contact, just an outstanding experience. No one likes going to a doctor but when life requires that you must, having providers like this gives you a less stressful experience and you have confidence in a positive outcome.

Dr. Irwin is very personable, and available to answer questions. Her staff at Clearway Pain Solutions is also very pleasant and helpful. I've seen her for a consult, a minimally invasive spinal procedure, and a follow-up. I was mostly pleased with my treatment, except for an unpleasant reaction I had to the anesthesia, which I warned them about, but they didn't give me prophylactic medication to prevent the nausea and vomiting, and had to treat me afterwards instead, so I had a long and unpleasant recovery period following my procedure. Aside from that, it went well. Dr. Irwin carefully considered my case, and consulted with an orthopedic surgeon before deciding what the best procedure would be for my back, and I appreciate her care and thoughtfulness.
